If you have a club crest or sponsor you want printing on to a garment, then there is a high chance we will ask you for a vector format of the logo.

What is a vector?

A vector format logo understands the different points of the print. So when we import a logo on to the printing software, it recognises all of the intricacies/detail of the design - even when blowing the file up to a printable size. A vector ensures that the points and proportions of the logo are maintained. Meaning the logo will not distort like a .jpeg or .png file would (see diagram above). A vector means that any size logo can be printed.

A vector logo can be in either .eps, .ai or .pdf format. Our preferred version of vector logo to receive is .eps format as this will be recognised by our designs software immediately.

The only time we wouldn't need a vector file, is when a sponsor is happy to have a logo as a patch/block print, as shown below:
